Nature's Blends Raw Natural Acacia Honey (340g). is a raw, unfiltered, unpasteurised Acacia honey sourced from Eastern Europe (Romania/Hungary). This is a mono-floral honey — produced by bees foraging predominantly on black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) blossoms — commonly called acacia in European honey trade — which gives it its characteristic very pale, almost water-white colour and distinctive flavour profile: delicate, light floral sweetness, slow to crystallise due to high fructose content. Raw honey retains all naturally occurring enzymes, pollen, propolis traces, and minerals that are destroyed or removed during pasteurisation and commercial filtration. Our acacia honey undergoes no heat treatment above hive temperature and is bottled in its natural state without any additives, blending, or processing.
This acacia honey is sourced from Eastern Europe (Romania/Hungary), where the specific climate, soil, and flowering seasons produce a distinct honey with consistent flavour characteristics. The bees forage primarily on black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) blossoms — commonly called acacia in European honey trade, which is reflected in the honey's flavour, colour, and pollen profile. The honey is harvested once per season and cold-extracted from the comb without heat. It is coarse-filtered to remove wax and bee parts only — fine filtration (which removes pollen) is not applied. Raw honey will naturally crystallise at room temperature over time; this is a sign of its natural, unprocessed state and does not indicate spoilage.
Take 1–2 teaspoons (7–14g) daily, directly from the spoon or stirred into warm (not hot) drinks. Excellent as a spread on toast or bread, stirred into porridge or yoghurt, or drizzled over cheese. Do not add to boiling liquids — heat above 40°C damages naturally occurring enzymes. To reliquefy crystallised honey, place the jar in a bowl of warm water (below 40°C). Store at room temperature with the lid tightly closed. Do not refrigerate.
